János Rózsa

(1937, Budapest)
He graduated from film-directing from the Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1961 in Félix Máriássy' class. With his class-mates he was one of the founders of the Béla Balázs Studio, where he made documentary films. He made his first full-length feature film Grimace with Ferenc Kardos in 1965. In all of his work he has been attracted to the world of the young. He is artistic manager and producer of the Objektív Film Studio. He has lectured at American universities as guest professor.
