József Pacskovszky

Born on 25.04.1961. in Celldömölk, Hungary.
Studied landscape architecture, then graduated as a film director from the Academy of Performing Arts, where he has been teaching since 1995.
Made his first feature film, The Wonderous Voyage of Kornél Esti, based on short stories by the Hungarian writer Dezső Kosztolányi in 1994. He also works for television. Has won several prizes at different international film festivals. Has been decorated in 2000 with the Balázs Béla Award for his contribution to the Hungarian cinematography.
