He graduated as an actor from the Hungarian Academy of Drama and Film in 1968. He was one of the determining members of the Kaposvár Csiky Gergely Theatre, then joined the National Theatre's Company. Since 1993 he has been a member of the company of the Veszprém Petőfi Theatre. On stage and on the screen he is equally popular.
In 1992 he made, 'We Never Die / Sose halunk meg', his first film as a director and screenplay-writer.
