After getting a diploma in Italian and Hungarian Literature and Linguistics and years spent interning at the Hungarian Film Institute, she graduated in documentary film directing from the Academy of Performing Arts in 1991. Her thesis film 'Once Upon a Time' won the Students' Academy Award in Los Angeles and several other prizes. She made her first feature film with Italian co-production in 1995.
She also works as a producer.
Her second feature film 'Guarded Secrets' made in 2004 won Best Director Prize at the 35th Hungarian Film Week.
