As its name suggests, the aim of the festival is to promote short films that are based exclusively on non verbal expression and speak to the audience without the use of words.

Made only through moving images and sounds without any verbalisation, the film creates a system of direct international communication without the need for dubbing or subtitling. Through the use of this system, the original value of the pure, uncontaminated cinematographic image is once again re-established.
