Giffoni International Film Festival


The Giffoni Film Festival is organised by the Autonomous Association of the Giffoni International Festival for Children and Young People, a non-profit organisation founded in 1973.


Competitive sections
Free to Fly - feature films, short films for audiences from 12 to 14 years of age.
First Screens - feature films, animated short films for audiences from 9 to 12 years of age.
Kidz - short animation and fiction films for audiences from 6 to 9 years of age.
Y-Gen - feature films, short films for audiences from 15 to 19 years of age.

Non-competitive Sections
Animated Nights - short animated films, memorable for their graphics, genial ideas and the particular style of the school from which they come.
Europa Freeway - a selection of short films, selected by six European cinema Festivals (France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Greece and Italy). The selection will be composed of short animated, fiction and experimental films.
