Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival

Since 1971, Bumbershoot has drawn artists representing the best in music, film, comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, performance, and visual arts to the Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend. North America's largest urban arts festival, Bumbershoot takes place in the heart of the city at the 74-acre Seattle Center. Over 150,000 visitors from near and far spend the weekend reveling in the world of Bumbershoot, experiencing everything from regional favorites to international superstars across all arts disciplines.
The 1 Reel Film Festival Presented by Seattle Center offers the year's best film shorts from around the world. Curated by the renowned Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), the 1 Reel Film Festival will feature 24 themed programs including Films4Families, animated shorts, award winners, music videos (Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Fleet Foxes, and more), the Live Earth Film Festival, films shot around the Earth (Australia, Sweden, Germany, Seattle and more) and even a short film on the last days of The Seattle Post-Intelligencer � Seattle�s own iconic globe.
