Taormina Film Festival

Taormina International Film Festival is a competitive event with several non competitive sections, Italy's premier summer showcase of films.
Founded in 1955.

The main program of the festival is the 'Mediterranea Competition' for the Golden Tauro. A special tribute is dedicated to a great director with a retrospective of his movies. Features in the 'Beyond the Mediterranean' selection compete for the Audience Award.
