Indian Winter (Indián tél)

(1992, feature, 35mm, black & white , 85 minutes)
First feature

The makers of this film made a documentary in 1985 about a young working class man from the country who could not stand being ostracised due to his being slightly eccentric. As a result he left the small town where he lived and moved into the forest and tried to live as an Indian both in the way he looked and in the way he thought as gleaned from novels he had read. This story is the basis for Indian Winter.
