Uncle Gyuszi takes his nephew, Imi, to a coat-hanger seller in the country. The parents are afraid of his intentions in this trip which a birthday present. When the train leaves Uncle Gyuszi pulls the communication cord and they go to the races. Sure enough! It� Wednesday, race day. Imi is shy and anxious, and without understanding watches the old guy with his dreams and risks as he lose everything on the horses, even up to the watch given to him by his father.
