Anikó, damn you. Hop on the first bus and come, you know what it's like when you've made it big time, you've ace. Do you know what I love Budapest means?
Your best ever friend, Móni
The film is about temptation, wrong decisions, and a world in which things have shifted from their places. What can a young person learn in a world she does not fit in? Where she has only been taken by her false dreams and the temptation of others? Can internal harmony and integrity be preserved in an environment where we are not allowed to live according to our own values? The protagonists of the film are four young people. One couple, a girl and a boy, have found their places in this world, they move around in it with confidence, they are good-looking, trying to get rich as quickly as possible, they drive expensive cars and wear expensive clothes. The other couple is a dreaming country girl in ungraceful shoes and a clumsy security guard in torn underpants.
We pass such people in the street every day and without any deeper analysis we are able to tell right away that they are born losers. However, now they are the protagonists and at last we are paying attention to them. This is a modern fairy tale. A sentimental and ironic story set here and now, in Budapest.
